Vishwas Patel: Oversees the entire planning, execution
and day-to-day management at Avenues. He is the Founder-CEO
of Avenues and has guided the company to be South Asia's
No. 1 eCommerce company within just two years of its launch.
A Commerce Graduate and then a Law Graduate, he went on
to practice law for two years.
A successful entrepreneur, Vishwas started by taking over
the family run construction and property development business.
In 1995, he founded the SEASONS Group of Companies and launched
'SEASONS' - which shortly became India's leading ethnic
garments brand with its products retailing at over 500 top
outlets around the globe.
The first initiative, CCAvenue™.com
was launched in September 2001 and it today provides turnkey
e-commerce solutions to more than two thousand eMerchants
across the world. ResAvenue™,
the second initiative, was launched with an aim to help
the hospitality industry to do business with anyone, anywhere,
anytime- thereby maximizing the revenue from the Internet.
The next few solutions, CineAvenue™,
EventAvenue™
and BPOAvenue™
are some of the new initiatives in the pipeline.
Apurva Mody: As Director-Marketing, he
oversees the marketing and new business development functions
at Avenues. A Graduate in Commerce from Bombay University,
he has fifteen years of diverse work experience in India
and abroad. His specific domain knowledge and experience
in the IT space with PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning
and Verisign online security has been of great assistance
at Avenues.
His track record includes stints as senior marketing director
with "The Gulf Today" newspaper in Sharjah, U.A.E.
as well as Chief Functional Implementation Specialist with
Geosoft Technologies, Redwood, California, USA. Since his
return to India in the year 2000, Apurva has been involved
in assisting Indian companies implement Verisign security
and is one of the key founder members of the Avenues team.
He brings to the latest initiative ResAvenue™,
the hands on experience gained in marketing CCAvenue™,
which has grown to become South Asia's largest payment gateway
solution for eMerchants. His past experience in the travel
sector marketing has contributed greatly in adding a lot
of the unique features in ResAvenue™.
Anupama Salvi: Though an architect by training, Anupama's
extensive hands-on experience with IT and with the related
business processes has stood her in good stead for her role
as the Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible
for the overall management of the business processes, strategic
planning and scoping functional requirements and specs for
new ventures and projects. Her past experience as project
co-coordinator in the field of architecture in USA, as well
as the web in India, has helped her master one of her key
responsibilities - that of Planning and Implementation.
Her purview encompasses interfacing with customers to understand
their needs and aspirations, to always keep Avenues one
step ahead in its strategy to provide cutting edge solutions
to eMerchants worldwide. All the Company initiatives, CineAvenue™,
ResAvenue™
as well as CCAvenue™
are industry forerunners, which provide customers pioneering
solutions. These have been created in a stimulating and
challenging environment in which the entire team thrives.
Aparna is an Engineering Graduate with specialization
in Electronics and Telecommunications. She leads a team
of dedicated software engineers in developing truly world
class solutions. She is the Chief Technology Officer
at Avenues and has successfully architected and implemented
all the cutting edge solutions that have been launched by
Avenues for eMerchants, worldwide.
Her extensive experience in computer systems and analysis
has given Avenues, the solid grounding and stability that
is essential to match customer expectations at a global
level. Sound policies and practices are the foundations
for any business and under her guidance; the Avenues team
ensures that the technological solutions are in line with
the policies and needs of the business.

Solution as well as CCAvenue™
Payment Gateway solution, which she and her team has architected,
is powered by proprietary technology that integrate online
payment processing, fraud control, financial reporting and
tracking.
Vivek Nayak: A Management Graduate, Vivek is the Chief
Information Officer at Avenues. A specialist in both
marketing and advertising, Vivek has a rich thirteen year
experience working in the Indian subsidiaries of some of
the top global advertising agencies including WPP Group,
Foote Cone & Belding and Grey Worldwide. His extensive
past experience includes strategic brand planning, communications
strategy formulation and execution for some of the top global
brands.
Vivek is responsible for providing input and feedback in
the overall business strategy as well as managing internal
and external information systems for the company. His key
responsibility includes implementation of a Knowledge Management
system to maximize corporate competitiveness and growth.
This includes tracking and analysis of the business processes,
strategic planning, internal and external customer support
management, setting up an electronic documentation process
and managing the external brand communication for Avenues.
